Hi there! We are Manon & Honza, long-distance hikers, maté drinkers, working holiday users and dreamers. We are moving around the world, partially because it’s fun, partially to find the perfect place for us to settle down, open a Bed & Breakfast and bake the best sourdough bread.
Until then, and maybe beyond that, we are taking you on our journey. Get some useful tips about different trails to hike, different countries to visit and incredible spots to work.
Our Story
We met in May 2023, in a beautiful yard in San Diego (USA) prior to our Pacific Crest Trail start. Honza started the PCT a day later, but catched up quickly and we are walking along each other since then.
Honza has been travelling the world since he left Uni. It’s been almost ten years and he never regretted his choice to leave the studies. I pushed through Uni and have a (rather useless) degree in International Business Administration. While I wished I had had the courage to look for change earlier, I have accepted the past as it is, and am grateful to be happy now.
We love hiking, leaving phones and laptops closed and just living into the day. As I am writing these words, we are getting ready to hike a part of the Michinoku Trail in Japan. We have hiked the entire Pacific Crest Trail together, the Via Dinarica (partially for me) and are currently planning the Michinoku Coastal trail and the Shikoku pilgrame (88 temple) trail in Japan.
We are excited where the flow of life will take us and are ready to move along with it!
